Sally Burns is a NMC registered midwife and is a professionally qualified aesthetic practitioner and is very experienced, working in the NHS for 35 years. Sally is fully insured with Cosmetic Insure and a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses. Sally graduated from Keele University in 2018 with a Master of Arts.

Hyaluronic acid (HA), which is naturally present in our body, performs a fundamental role in keeping the skin in good health.  This essential element of the dermis retains water like a sponge so as to maintain its hydration.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a skilled removal and exfoliation of the "peach fuzz" or vellus hair.
It removes the dead skin cells and hair by using a sterile surgical blade.  It helps reveal a brighter, smoother complexion and your skin care is mroe easily absorbed and make up is more easily applied showing an improved complexion.  it also prepares your skin for other treatments such as skin resurfacing and peels.  Dermaplaning is ideal for special occasions such as wedding, aniversaires and holidays.

Muscle Relaxant Injections

Forehead, Frown Lines and Crows Feet
Muscle relaxant treatments are a medical procedure and a prescription only medicine.  Results may vary between individuals and can last up to 12 weeks.  I will discuss this with you at your initial consutation before any treatment is performed.  Two weeks post-treatment, a review will be offered to ensure the best reuslts are achieved for you.  Due to this, I aadvise that this treatment should be completed 6 weeks prior to any important occasion or holiday.

Dermal Fillers

Can naturally soften the subtle signs of ageing, add volume and highlight your natural features.

Dermal fillers can also be used to enhance your lips, by redifining the lip contours (cupid's bow and vermillion border), give more volume and to beautify the lips.  Dermal fillers last for different periods of time dependent on the product type chosen.  This will be discussed in depth at your consultation.  The basic juvederm range lasts from 6-12 months whereas the juvederm Vycross range lasts from 12-18 months.
